The Grateful Quilter

Welcome to The Grateful Quilter. My name is Brenda Randall. I wanted to start a blog that incorporated quilting and personal development. Now before you go rolling your eyes and saying, “I don’t need all that phoo phoo stuff”, let me explain.

I believe in each of us there is more than meets the eye. I believe we are all uniquely talented in our own way. We are individuals who bless and touch the people around us. I also believe we are our own worst enemy! We tell ourselves all kinds of lies every day. Maybe we say that we can’t make that project we’ve been working on. Maybe we think we aren’t smart enough to do that thing. Maybe we believe that no one would like anything we have to offer. Whatever “it” is, we continue to tell ourselves that we are not enough.

Ladies, this is a lie! Each one of us was born with unique gifts and talents. Each one of us is a gift!  But here is the kicker people – and read this twice if you need to:

WHAT WE BELIEVE BECOMES OUR TRUTH

“If you think you can do a thing or think you can’t do a thing, you’re right.” – Henry Ford

Our thoughts are what we have created, who we are and where we are going. If you have achieved every dream you ever wanted and have already become the perfect person, this blog is not for you. If you still have hopes and dreams and know there is more in you than you are today, keep reading because that’s what personal development and quilting is all about.

Happy quilting,
